Okay first of all, I cannot express how freaking sorry I am that I didn't notice you posted almost a month ago I am so sorry OMG lol

I use subtitles a lot. My mom and dad are a bit harder of hearing so we use subtitles even during movies when English is the language being spoken since it's harder for them to hear it. And also when it's like British or Scottish or Irish accents since my parents are like "WTF IS BEING SAID DOES NOT COMPUTE" lmao

And I also watch a lot of Bollywood films so subtitles are a necessity lol

No not really, I was only off for like 3 weeks after my classes ended and when my new semester begins so still only 4 times a week. Wish it was 3 but what can you do lol

Classes start again on Monday and even though I'm in an online program, we get to go on campus for a week starting Monday so that should be fun.

I do too! My parents also find it hard to understand some of the time, and I have the same problem too sometimes, actually. When actors mumble, it's like I can't strain my ears to hear them, haha.

Not too much, really. I was studying for exams for a while and I finally finished about a week ago, so it's mostly just been relaxing for the past week. You?

It's for a week and the course itself is a week but I think we have a final assignment due near the end like in August and we are also taking a full length entirely online course so like the other courses I have taken in the first and second semester. It's nice to be able to put the names I see on our discussion forums to faces in real life lol

Yeah I had been working and relaxing for the past couple of weeks. Now back to school *sigh*

Wait, sorry, I forget ... have you been doing this grad program since September already? It feels like you just told me about it yesterday.

Yup, the same goes for me too; I'm taking summer school courses. Two in the same term this time, since I've only taken one at most in a summer term for the past two years and that was brutal (my parents are the type that don't let me do anything but study when I'm in school, so I was just wasting time online the past two summers).

Nah, not really. I finally watched Mean Girls for the first time about a month ago. You?

Yeah since September. Actually around the same time I started my job however I tend to rant a lot more about my job so it probably seems like that lol

Is your summer semester until August or until June? Some schools do a full summer semester while some (like my sisters school) do a summer session May-June and July-August

Ugh my parents are the same way too! Well kind of, I mean, we watch TV and go to movies and go to concerts/hockey games and whatnot but there's always that "Shouldn't you be studying?" or "Have you finished your assignments" and its like lmao

I'm in Victoria right now for my course and we're learning so much lol and I didn't get lost taking the bus from the place we're renting so yay!

We recently went to Seattle and I watched Divergent and Captain America 2 and both were awesome. I actually want to watch Cap 2 again so I'm going to see if any of my friends haven't seen it yet or want to see it and go again with them lol.

Just until June. There were some courses I wanted to take but they were until August so I was like nope, sorry.
Oh, mine does both (two and four months). You don't get to choose what you do for your program now, right?

Yeah, it gets so irritating, hahah, I'll sit down and watch baseball on TV for like 20 minutes and then they say, "you should really be studying now".

No I don't get to choose, it's always until August. But I think my family is going on vacation at the end of August so that's nice. At my old school, it was usually until August and there are only very few classes that go until June. I was lucky enough that most of my summer classes were the ones until June but I did have some until August and it's like ugh lol

No, some of the students live in Victoria so they stay at their own places and we have to find our own accommodations and whatnot. I'm staying with two other classmates in a rental home.

Damn. Yeah, a couple of summers ago I just took one course for each of the two summer terms (so six weeks per course) and I hated it. I don't think I'd be able to do any course for the entirety of the summer.
