You got a guy like this, and a guy like, oh, say Ben Foster. Justin is good but Foster has got more goin' on in terms of craft. Just saw Justin in public and he's not really turning heads. I'd go there though. Most men and women would.

umm.....mulholland dr. and inland empire. two of the best movies ever. not too mention he was great in both of them. hes done alot of other stuff also and he wrote tropic thunder w ben stiller.

Do you think most of the general public saw Mullholland Dr, Inland Empire or Tropic Thunder? Sure people who have seen these films know who he is but even then they don't. MD was 10 YEARS AGO and I forgot it was him in it. I also saw TT and don't remember him being a writer. The point is that he's not a household name. Esoteric yes, well-known, no. He's getting more pub being with Aniston than he did for anything else he's done.

im pretty sure most of the general public saw tropic thunder. i think it did really well at the box office. it was nominated for an oscar and ben stiller, jack black, and downey jr were in it. mulholland drive was nominated for an oscar also and is considered one of the best films of the 2000s, so you do the math. im sure not alot of ppl have seen inland. not too mention hes been in alot of other movies anyways, so just because hes not a "household name" which makes no difference anyway and that hes getting more pub with aniston does not mean squat.
the guy can act, just because hes not a superstar dosnt mean anything. good for him if hes dating aniston. what are ppl just jealous or sumthin? i dnt understand all the criticism. he doesnt really take leading roles so idk why ppl expect him to be huge. plus im pretty sure he also wrote iron man 2 which was a pretty descent superhero sequel.

I'll let you do it. According to BoxOfficeMojo it only grossed 7 million dollars and was in less than 250 theaters nationwide in it's peak run. With 333 million people in the U.S. it can hardly be said that the general public saw it. The same with TT. It did well in the box office but if you're not a fan of the genre or actors why would someone see it? I know several people who go to the movies a lot and didn't see it because they had not interest in it.

True. I don't think anyone is saying he can't act or thinks it's a problem that he's not a superstar.

numbers are fine and all, but this movie has been out for 10 yrs now. its been on tv, ppl can rent it, ppl can own it. i think you are referring to how many ppl actually went to see it when it was first released and how many theaters it was put into. word spreads over the yrs. its almost the same now w tt, even tho it hasnt been out for nearly as long. ive seen it on tv now numerous times. so this is what happens when your girlfriend is more famous than you are. maybe all the press is a good thing for him, you never know. at least we both know hes not a bad actor, so the way i look at it is, good for him. hes been around for while and i think he deserves a little credit for some things.
