Character in Mulholland Drive

His character looks distractingly like the verizon wireless guy...it almost ruined the movie for me because of the similar hair, glasses, and face. I know the movie was before the commerical...but its unfortunate how much he looks like him now.

I didn't notice any striking resemblences. The Verizon Wirless guy is plump and visibly nerdy; whereas Adam Kesher (Theroux's character in Mulholland Drive) is thin and always in a crabby mood- the perfect stereotype for a young hotshot filmmaker.

What I don't understand is how we're going to stay alive this winter.

Adam Kesher, in my reading of the movie, is really just another incarnation of Diane/Betty. Thus why the cowboy told him that if he was good, he'd see him one more time, blah blah blah.

As to the topic at hand, I am continually baffled by the popularity of threads on IMDb wherein someone will claim that two celebrities--who look nothing alike--bear a striking resemblance, thereby inviting ridicule.

Hey thanks for keeping this long forgotten topic popular :)

I thought he was sort of spoofing Quentin Tarantino.

Did I not love him, Cooch? MY OWN FLESH I DIDN'T LOVE BETTER!!! But he had to say 'Nooooooooo'

He totally looked like the Verizon Wireless guy in Mulholland Drive. My brother's a big David Lynch fan, so we make those "Can you hear me now? Good." jokes all the time.

Being inconsistent is better than being consistently bad.

He was awesome in that movie, though. Verizon Guy or not. (I never made that connection.)

his look is purely coincidence since he came to the cast call with the same clothes that appear in the movie. seems like david lynch loved them
