Simply Put, Jim is An Amazing Actor!

I loved him ever since I saw Across the Universe and then Boleyn Girl and 21, but he has completely won me over in One Day. Jim is such a natural actor and is always able to put meaning into every scene he does.

I have not yet read the book but really got a sense of a multi-dimensional character that Jim brought to Dexter. He went from a young, charismatic, good-looking guy to a charming but immature ladies' man; to an egotistical and selfish jerk; to a somewhat broken father and divorcee; to a man in love and finally to a mature and reflective adult. Phew.

Really talented, really gorgeous actor with a great personality to boot. Love everything about him.

I agree, I just loved Across the Universe but I haven't really seen him in anything apart from that so I wasn't sure if he was actually a talented actor - or if I just liked him because he's nice to look at :p

One Day really showed that he has a great range as an actor and got the portrayal of Dexter perfect. I wasn't completely blown away by the book or the movie, but he was definitely the best for the role. If he had a better lead actress than abysmal Hathaway then I think the movie would have been much more impressive. I think he gave quite a subtle performance and the amount that he could express through those eyes was just.. excellent.

Jim is really talenetd as an actor and as a musician.And really nice person.Love him!
