I went to the same secondary school as Mark and played in the same basketball team as him! We were nt exactly best mates but we knew each other to chat to then. (Alan is not my real name, by the way....)

From what ! remember (and it is a long time ago) he was OK at basketball - as was I! He certainly was not one of the stars of the team, and he was definitely neither the tallest nor the most naturally talented.
If I can work out how to do it I will scan the photograph of the team and send (e-mail) it to anyone who asks for it.

It's much like recalling my Netball playing days at school: managed OK, but never the star of the team!
Mind you, I was defensive and the scorers always get the glory......
I digress though.
