Well said Ron. Both the story as well as the character (Ms. Knoop/JT) she will be portraying appear to be very intriguing. First of all, Knoop seems to be a very complex character, one who lies and exploits others--but at the same time is intensely likeable, even to the many celebrities who were endeared to "his" "plight". As cheesy as it may sound, the protagonist must be likeable in one way or another in order to attract most moviegoers here in the US. So this could turn out to be one of the best, if not best character she has ever portrayed in a film not just from the perspective of this being a challenging role for Kristen but also that it will be more palatable to mainstream viewers liking if they find themselves empathizing with JT. Secondly, because her character is neither a goody two-shoes, nor the very epitome of evil, more of a mixed bag if you will, her role, if done right, will come across as more believable than if her character was a cliched archetype, two-dimensional cardboard cutout of a role. And lastly, her character could become a memorable one, as the audience may expect one thing at the outset of the film while being thrown for a loop the rest of the way as JT is not at all what "he" appears to be on the surface. Predictable storylines and characters are soon forgotten, while characters and stories that buck the trend and unceasingly amaze us live on forever.
