Rubbish. You're letting him off hook and allowing him less culpability by claiming his racist hoax was due to "illness" as opposed to premeditated, plain old selfish and bigoted behavior. This is what the evidence suggests despite your amateur psychological opinion, for which there's no precedent in his past behavior (unless you have special access to his medical history?).
