The Village and The Visit were underrated

They weren't masterpieces, but they were definitely enjoyable flicks. I don't get all the hate. The twist in The Village was a disappointment to many but IMO it was realistic and I liked it.

It was a great movie but the Shyalaman bash train had left the station

The Visit is what revitalized his career.

I am forever traumatized because of this movie...
This shitty little kid with these shitty little "raps" was just too much.

Dammit. I forgot about that scene. Why do you do this to me?

I like The Village and I know I'm in the minority in this but I think is a good movie and I actually liked the Twist.

The Village is an excellent movie. It's highly underrated and deserved far more credit than it got when it was released. In fact, I'd say that The Village is my favorite film of his and it's definitely the one that I've rewatched the most.

It's a very rich film thematically, has a great cast, and is beautifully shot and scored.

The Village is a film that people should not just watch, but really think about. The film has a lot to say about the nature of innocence, and good and evil.

I quite enjoyed The Village but I absolutely loathed The Visit. I’m no fan of the found footage genre, but I expected M. Night to at least bring some sense of class to the genre. Instead it was a tiresome and infuriatingly predictable mess that could have been directed by any old hack. Anyone who didn’t pick the reveal by the end of the first act is as stupid as the movie itself.
