Patton Oswald actually had a great trilogy idea. I would pay good money to see it.

Unbreakable wasn't a big hit when it came out. If it would've been, he would've done the sequel sooner. So this was smart. Split has gotten pretty good reviews and it had a nice opening weekend. It also sparked interest in an Unbreakable sequel.
shareNight's on record stating several times that Unbreakable was conceived as the first installment of a trilogy. Bad box office killed the dream. BUT...now, with superheroes being the rage and Split being a success, maybe we'll be seeing that sequel. Fingers crossed!
