The ability to be unrecognizable in character from one role to the next is the sign of a great actor. They both possess that skill.

As much as I love Michael Sheen, you can not compare him to Gary Oldman.
I agree with Gary Oldman and Michael Sheen BOTH being great actors. Do I need to compare them? No. Why? It's not a contest. But yes, they are both such great actors, becoming totally different characters for different films.
