shareReally? Have you watched it, he's amazing in that show, genius really. They should give him Awards. I hope they keep it going. Seems as if nowadays more and more famous high paid actors are doing TV, but only on Cable like Masters is on Showtime. For example the new show True Detectives with Matthew Magonahey and Woody Harrelson.
shareMasters of Sex is an amazing show! He is brilliant in it, and he did receive a nomination for it, I believe a Golden Globe. His portrayal of Masters is so perfect. He plays the super serious side of Masters so great, people love to hate him. But, when he gets emotional, or even lets it peek through, he is brilliant. Love the show, and am totally hooked on it, and it is his role that hooked me. I was initially drawn to it for Teddy Sears, but Michael owns that show.
shareI so agree!!
I was unsure about Masters of Sex, but have heard it was a great show.
I have watched 6 episodes of the first season in the last day and a half or so. It is addicting!
I have never been a Michael Sheen fan, but he is brilliant in this. You do want to dislike his character, but in the same time, you get drawn to him. Just something about him....
TV doesn't seem to be the doomship for movie actors that it once was. Many, many movie stars are coming to TV while still doing big movie roles.
Does it matter? **** enough women and some of them will give you presents. --Littlefinger--
Yeah TV isn't what it used to be. Now there is great programming on TV especially Cable outlets like HBO, Starz, and Showtime. Even FX has some great shows with some high profile actors.
It makes sense considering the type of movies that are being made. Big budget superhero flicks don't really appeal to actors trying to challenge themselves.
