shareshe is?
I thought she was Persian
When there's no more room in hell, The dead will walk the earth...
First, you know this how? And second, why does that matter? That's not important. I've been pulled aside at the airport before and I'm very clearly of Irish descent (for the most part).
shareAgain I ask: How do you know she gets pulled out of line in the airport? And, honestly, she doesn't look all that Iraqi.
shareUm.. Before you put something in quotation marks make sure it's a quote. I never said that she "doesn't look like a Muslim." There is no specific look for Muslims. I personally know several Muslim families and some of them don't have a drop (to their knowledge) of Middle Eastern blood. Muslim is not an ethicity.
All I was saying (perhaps I could have been more eloquent)is that she doesn't look totally Iraqi. Alia's Irish-Norwegian heritage is also prevelant when you look at her. You may not be able to pinpoint it but it is there.
And no one has answered my question yet. Why does her heratige matter? She's a beautiful girl and a great actress. Why do we care?
