Good looking and most importantly a good actor....why no great part?
If Burt wasn't there he would have been great in Deliverince.

He took too many tv roles. He was typecast. That was back in the day when a television actor was generally never cast in movies.

I've often wondered that. I guess his highest profile role internationally was 'Roper' in Enter the Dragon.

He had a great career. I don't think he ever complained.
