I've loved this guy in every movie/show I have seen him in, granted only a few. The Last Samurai, Sunshine, Lost and 47 Ronin.
Could anyone recommend me some of his best movies? Preferably, movies about feudal Japan, but not limited to. Also, I don't care if they are subbed. Thanks in advance.

I'd recommend The Twilight Samurai. It's a great movie no matter what your reason for watching it and Sanada is pitch perfect in the lead.

Watch "Twilight Samurai". It is an excellent film and you'll see what a powerful actor he is. Note, this is more a "quiet" film about day-to-day life, but it is powerful in its humanity.

I just watched "The Railway Man" and I was pleasantly surprised to find him in it. He does not have a large part, but it is a great part.
