He needs more roles, or at least a better agent. Wonderful work in PRIEST, THE WINGS OF THE DOVE, and PANDAEMONIUM. Why oh why don't we see more of him on the big screen here in the US?? He has natural charm, an easy grace, classic good looks, exudes earnestness, honesty, passion, intelligence, and elegance. A compelling actor.
shareAgreed on every one of those points. But, in a country where the "talent" reciving most screen time are hotel hiereses, fashion victim WAGs and rehab candidates, it's hardly surprising a charming, intense and actually talented actor wouldn't dominate the big screen on any regular basis.
I'm so glad that there are people out there who really appreciate this actor. I have been a huge fan ever since Priest. It's a shame that he still isn't well-known. I think he should be up there with Ralph Fiennes and other great actors. Mera-1, you have described him perfectly.
