179th is still in pre-production. I thought they haven't started filming this yet...there is a trailer? Anyway, I think Pitt being in this will definitely give this movie a lot of buzz. Do you know if this is an indie film or if it's a major motion picture?

I hope he does it. Isn't he playing a detective? Hopefully an honest one, a good guy, not a crooked one. He has played enough bad guys lolol. Be nice if he played a good guy this one time.

I'd like to see him as a "good guy" too, lol. It's been a while, since he usually plays these twisted characters.

Yeah, there's a website with a trailer and cast list. Michael is still on the list. If he dropped out, they would have took him off the list right lol? idk for sure though. Looks like a veryyy cheap indie movie, the kind you laugh out loud at even when you're not supposed to. I mean that guy in the trailer with the nasty eye thing...?? idk if that's creepy or freakin hilarious. Ah indies, but hey I'd watch it if MP is still in it, just to see him and MKW together again.

To me it looks like a cheap indie movie, with an interesting premise. I thought the guy with the missing eye was a bit hokey, he did look sinister IMO. I know Michael is known for choosing projects for the quality and not really concerned with quantity. I couldn't help but notice that he wasn't listed in the trailer. I also wonder if they filmed his scenes. If he's not in this movie then I'm not watching this.

Twisted characters indeed. The last nice guy was Toby in Delirious with Buscemi. Some girl on here a couple years ago called him a pure saint in that movie lol. But hey he makes evil look sexy. If you haven't seen Funny Games, you should. He almost took me over to the dark side on that one. I just have a weakness for Michael Pitt and his naughty and nice act. And his huge blue eyes and pillow lips. Uh-huh. ;)

I haven't seen Delirious, but I have seen Funny Games and he is soooo creepy in that. He got the sociopathic thing down to a tee. And yes I agree that even when he's evil, he is so damn sexy, lol. He's face is unusually pretty. He looks like an adult cherib, which is probably why when he's playing evil it has such an impact. You wouldn't expect someone with innocent features to be so devious.

Personally idc that much, idk if I'm seeing that movie, but yeah Charlie is cute. He'll be fine. He looks hot as long as he shaves that freaking beard. The beard is gross imo. But yeah, wow, you can't expect a straight answer to a question like that on the soapbox. LOL. The sandbox is a bit better for that.

Yes I did create the Charlie H vs. Ian S thread on both the Soapbox and Sandbox. I did it because on the 50 shades board everyone is saying how much more attractive Ian is over Charlie and how ugly CH is. I was just curious to see what unbiased opinions would be if I compared the 2 somewhere else. The Soapbox is a troll fest, I know, but it is more active than the Sandbox which is why I started there. Anyway if I had to compare the 2, I'd say that Charlie is the handsomer one when he's clean cut. Ian looks like a poor man's Rob Lowe. There is also something about Ian that gives me the creeps, sorry if I sound harsh.

HAHA, yeah they do share the same bday. Its funny too because sometimes I notice that they both have similar mannerisms and similar acting methods. Are you into astrology? I'm a Gemini, they're both Aries, so we'd be perfect for each other.

I think that in astrology, you're suppose to not get along at all with members of the same sex in your polar opposite sign, and there is suppose to be sexual tension between you and the members of the opposite sex belonging to your polar sign.

I remember reading somewhere that Aries is Gemini's sexiest match. And IRL Aries guys tend to like me, lol.

ppl pretend astrology's all coincidences, but there's too many of them, if you ask me. MP playing a soldier on BE and Win having a similar haircut at the same time that was like that of a soldier, when both are Ariens and soldiers and the military have to do with the sign Aries. The name "Arcade Fire" when Fire is Aries' element. That's just too weird to all be an accident.

This also reminds me of Taylor Kitsch, he's only born 2 days before Michael, he has the same month, same year and they have a lot in common too. Kitsch ran away from home at 16, he was also homeless, got into acting, also wore his head shaved for the movies. That's quite a coincidence. I think that Michael is more talented than Taylor, but still...what a coincidence.

btw Michael Pitt, Leo D, Win Butler, and Dane DeHaan all look similar to me and besides astrology there is another interesting reason why. All of them are WASPs with some Italian in them (maybe Spanish in Win's case, not totally sure). This eerily rings true to me, that their similar ethnic backgrounds is another reason why they all look so alike. I love Italian guys. So while the guys I just mentioned are not exactly exotic, they do have a really sexy mix imo. :)

People with similar ethnic admixture do tend to favor each other. I always thought that MP and LD were from the same tribe (not at all twins, but...ya know).
