Very interesting observation.
I would also like to add that on Boardwalk he get's shot in the face, twice.
I don't know about you, but it pains me to see things happen to that pretty face.
Also, in Hannibal, Dr. Chilton is shot in the face in the same place Jimmy was shot in Boardwalk Empire.
shareHa ha the fact that he is considered attractive goes with the whole thing of him cutting his face. Its more interesting to see that happen to someone with an attractive face rather than a plain or ugly face. Its interesting because some of the comments on youtube regarding the movie version of Mason in the movie Hannibal give the impression that a lot of people think one of the reasons Hannibal made him mess his face up was to make him look like a monster on the outside as well as inside. And then children would stay away because he is scary looking. I never thought about that reason but it does make a lot of sense. And in the show Mason has such an innoccent looking face which I am sure made it easier to get children to trust him. Plus he has the ability to deceptively act nice to children at first to gain their trust. Just like at first he was friendly to the boy in the barn on that one episode before he mentally cuts him
The scary clown doll is hiding under my bed.
