I've wanted her to win ever since I saw Gone Girl in theaters. It's an amazing performance and even if she's a long shot to win its well deserved recognition.

Congrats, Rosamund, a very deserving nominee :) She was very convincing in the role. I thought she did great in Die Another Day, Pride and Prejudice, Surrogates, even that shyte film The Devil You Know, but here is the first opportunity for her to show full range of talents and I am glad people noticed.

This the oscar got right but damn there are many nominations they didn't. First of all this movie was snubbed for about 6-7 nominations, Then Jake Gyllenhaal snub and adding Bradley Cooper instead is just laughable

Rosamund is not gonna win. She even knows it now with this oscar snub for Gone Girl. Now she can relax at the award show because its obvious Julianne Moore is winning this

There were a lot of undeserving noms this year.Meryl Streep scoring a nod for Into the Woods?? Emma Stone for Birdman when she barely had a standout scene.Mark Ruffalo for Foxcatcher when he was hardly in the movie and I believed the only person from the cast deserving was Channing Tatum.Carrell's performance was great but for the most part it was overrated.

I haven't seen American Sniper so I can't say much about whether Cooper's nom was deserving.As for Gone Girl, so far the only most deserving person is Pike.However her category is incredibly tight with far more outstanding performances from the others and especially Moore.I guess she should just relish the fact that now her name will be preceded by "Oscar Nominee".

Ever since I hit middle twenties I don't really give a damn about Oscars. However, I would still be rooting for Rosamund Pike !
