Would've loved to have seen her as Cersei!

As much as I like Lena Headey in the role, I really would've loved to have seen Rosamund as Cersei Lannister on Game of Thrones! She's gorgeous & I see more resemblance between her & Nikolaj Coster-Waldau

Until I saw her in "Gone Girl" I didn't see her as an actress who could pull off the kind of conniving, cunning and just plain nastiness of Cersei Lannister. Yeah - she's have nailed that role. I loved the way she was able to completely flip the switch in "Gone Girl" - looking forward to seeing more of her in films in the future.

She's too cold for Cersei. Cersei still has some connection to humanity. As beautiful as Rosamund is, and she really is, she has the coldest and most emotionless eyes I've seen on any actress. Every movie I've seen her in she comes off as just this impossibly impassive ice queen.

Even in Gone Girl. I got no real passion from her in the sex scenes.

When Lena smiles there's someone in there. She has humanity, and it's her deliberate attempts to tamp it down that makes her brilliant. You can totally see that she has been "made" cold. You can see the hurt in her when she deals with her dad, the raging hate she feels for Tyrion, the lust she feels for Jaime, and the fear, love (and regret) she felt concerning Joffre. All of that has to be communicated.

Rosamund can't pull that off. Perhaps it is the roles she's taking but there's just something missing in her eyes.
