Looks like Mariska Hargitay
I am watching Lake Placid right now and I thought Mariska Hargitay's character was Lana Parilla at first.

shareI honestly don't see it, plus both have different acting styles. I like both of them though.

Actually look up Elizabeth Vargas from ABC's 20/20... although they are roughly 10 yrs apart in age, they could be twins. I couldn't figure out where I had seen Lana before and that answered it for me right there.. I hadn't.. I thought they were the same person.
shareYou're right, they do also look quite similar!
shareTwins? That's overstating the comparison quite a bit. Granted, her facial morphology is more similar to Parrilla than Hargitay, but not identical by any means. More similar is Elsa Martinelli, a former Italian actress (she's in her 70s now):

Look at that face and then tell me again that Hargitay or even Vargas is more likely to be Parrilla's long list twin. Google-Image her name and pick a relatively recent photo, and that's what Parrilla is likely to look like in another 45 or 50 years.

I think you need to use another comparison photo. I found a better image at http://www.nndb.com/people/933/000115588/. I wouldn't say that the young Elsa Martinelli looks like Lana Parilla's identical twin, but they do bear a strong resemblence.

I dunno... I'm inclined to stick by my original comparative photo (nudity aside). I think the NNDB photo almost makes her appear more similar to, say, Natalie Wood than Lana Parrilla. How about these two as a compromise?

In those recent examples, she reminds me of Stephanie Kramer, the actress from 80's detective series Hunter. Here is picture of a young Ms. Krammer http://www.imdb.com/media/rm3910311168/tt0086734and a more recent photo: http://www.famouswhy.com/pictures/people/stephanie_kramer.jpg.
I tend to focus on eyes. Lana Parilla and Elsa Martinelli seem to differ in the eyes. Ms. Martinelli seems to have that doey-eyed look, while Ms. Parilla's eyes appear more almond shaped to me.
