I just read in a swedish newspaper (http://www.svd.se/kulturnoje/nyheter/nyqvist-filmar-mot-tom-cruise_5391129.svd if you want to google translate it) that Michael will be the "bad guy" in the upcoming Mission Impossible 4. It's not listed here though.
Do you think he can play an evil roll? :) I've always watched him in sassy romantic movies, or lately, as the comely and nice journalist in the Millenium-movies. Well, it will be interesting, for sure.

I'm not sure whether MI4 is a good move, but I'm sure he can do bad really good.

He has played bad gys before, both in film and onstage, he's really good at that too.

he was a bad guy in one of the Wallander episodes, quite good
