I completely agree! I watched TGWTDT last night and was struck by him. The first "morning after" scene when they were eating breakfast together, the way he kept on smiling at her made me melt.

I was aware that this is part of a saga but I was pleasantly surprised to see that Blomkvist is going to be in all of them (I haven't read the books). Daniel Craig?? well I won't be watching the remake that's for sure.

When I read the book I wondered how they would do the casting as Blomkvist is described as a rough sex bomb. Was surprised when Nyqvist was cast as I don't see anything attractive in him. Good that we all have different tastes :)

I've yet to read the first two books and have just watched Dragon Tattoo and had formed an opinion of Blomkvist only by what I've read in Hornet's Nest. However I do agree with the OP, a good looking man. In fact they made a very striking screen couple, Noomi is a very attractive girl and he is also very striking. Nice eyes.

Yes! I haven't seen any of his other movies (though I certainly will now) but he was incredibly sexy in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

I haven't seen GWTDT yet, but I did watch "Together" on Netflix Instant. He is so ridiculously attractive in that. The movie was really good too. I highly recommend it.
