Dr Who
Although it was a small role, his final scene where he gave the speach about Van Gogh was heartbreaking and brought me to tears. If you have the chance to see the episode you will really enjoy both his and Tony Curran's performances.

shareHe was credited in the credits for some reason.
The scene was heartbreaking, I agree
I absolutely LOVED that episode, and the ending is what made it. I was laughing at the fact that both Bill Nighy and Tony Curran were in an episode together. I was like "Hey, it's Bill Nighy from Underworld!" and then just a few minutes later I said "Hey, it's Marcus!" They both did great, especially Tony.

He was not credited in the credits for some reason, you mean?
shareFunny how this hasn't come up when all the actors in "The Girl in Fireplace" which was set in eighteenth century France didn't speak with french accents.
shareWell, he's a well known actor and he was in the episode only for 3-5 minutes. The uncredited part just makes him being there more surprising. In a good way.

That's because of the automatic translating circuit in the Tardis. Maybe it was having an off day when it translated Van Gogh (and gave the translation an accent)?
No, YOU'RE more childish - so there!
Watching that scene gave me a weird thought: what if Nighy's character was so emotional in that scene because (a) he knew that the Doctor and Amy were there, and (b) he knew how they'd changed/caused Van Gogh's final outcome? Of course that could only happen if he was a Time Lord, and there's only one left... OMG! It's "The Two Doctors", with a FUTURE Doctor coming back and running into the current one! What a great concept - instead of only "past" Doctors getting together (like in "The Three Doctors", etc), throw in the occasional "future" Doctor!
