WM really did great in Elysium. I've see him in a few Brazilian movies and tv shows. His best movie(s) being Tropa da Elite IMO. I thought he did great in first (I hope first of many more) US movie. They definitely picked the right guy to play Spider. His last line in the movie was EPIC.

shareYeah he was great. An actor who really makes you pay attention but not in an overacting-attention seeking way. I can see this guy getting lots of work after Elysium.
shareThought his English eloquence still needs work (specially as compatriot Alice Braga is on the cast and sounds much clearer), but he still delivers a performance as good as in the Brazilian works, and the moment where he tackles the villain reminded me of Captain Nascimento beating down people!
