Cook County was amazing, anything that hard to watch that keeps you in your chair is worth while. I would also suggest his first film, Tully. Good indie. Crossroads is a milestone in his career and I am not gonna fault it, but it isn't high on my recommend list.
shareJust watched Tully..slow paced but I liked it. He seems to work with a lot of the same people.
shareCook County is a haunting portrayal on Anson's part. It is definitely the kind of movie that sticks with you. One of few movies in recent memory where the actor truly disappeared in his character.
