I remember seeing an interview with him during the 'Crossroads' release and didn't care for what he had to say and then he appeared as a big douche on 'Lost' but I agree, I really enjoy him on 'Hell On Wheels'. Great character, great acting. I'm rooting for him now!

Just started watching an episode and Anson's character is really what kept me interested in the show, watched like 5 episodes in a row!
I instantly loved this guy!

I just started watching HOW cause it was on after walking dead. I went - who is that guy. He really is amazing. I like the show alot but when he isn't on the screen I'm just waiting for him to appear.

Other times when I've had a similar reaction was when I saw Daniel Day Lewis in the last of the mohicans and Russell Crowe in Gladiator. I wasn't that familiar with either of those actors when I saw them in those movies.

I think he was perfectly cast. Along with the woman who plays Lily.
