You spin sexuality in a way that is ambiguous. You have never found your own sexuality. This has made you angry. You have no outlet. You have had sex. It was with a family member. Brother, sister, cousin. It wasn't pleasant. You associate sex with shame. You have spent the majority of your life trying to make others think you are smarter than them. You feel superior to others. You cannot go into a bar and have a conversation. You are inept at interactions with others. You probably have a physical defect. Obesity. Hair loss. A limp.

I can see the original posters point in that her hairstyle is similar to those a lot of gay women adopt. I don’t think it applies as much to guys with long hair because gay guys usually don’t go for that look. their hair is usually impeccably styled.

I would disagree. While you couldn't run around knowing with complete certainty that someone was or wasn't a lesbian based on how they look, there are certainly some lesbians that try to make themselves look like lesbians. And if you don't have a feminine face then going with a hairstyle that is favored by lesbians is going to make you look like a lesbian. With Pink, I'm pretty sure she knows that she looks like a lesbian which was probably planned from the start. If I was going to try and become a pop star I would try to cater to the gay/lesbian segment to begin with because that group tends to be very loyal to whatever performer they latch onto. Just look at how rabid the gay and lesbian fans are to performers like Madonna or Lady Gaga. So if you were Pink and knew you weren't the prettiest woman in the world, you would know you would probably be better off trying to cater to the lesbian crowd than you would to the follows of the cute teen singers.

But to say there is no identifying look for lesbian is silly. Go to a bar that caters to lesbians and you'll see a segment of lesbians that try to look as butch as possible. You will also not seen many hetrosexual women trying to adopt that same look as the realty is hetro women are trying to be attractive to men not to women so they will style themselves in a way that they think attracts men, not women. If you think lesbian don't have a horn growing out of their head to identify them then yes that is true, but the fact is people look the way they do based on their own decisions on how to do their hair and makeup. There is a lesbian look, and it is generally not adopted by straight women because they generally don't want to turn off men and make themselves look like a lesbian.
