Blames being black for career not being more successful

Mo’Nique whined in a podcast interview that her career might’ve been as successful as Melissa McCarthy if she had been given equal opportunities as her white contemporaries.

Seriously? Does she not realize there are literally thousands of actors of all races, including whites, out there who have never had opportunities for several reasons.

That includes Oscar winners whose careers ended soon after winning.

Playing the black card and griping about white privilege is just absolute BS. She’s just embarrassing himself.

I’m not a huge McCarthy fan but I’ll take her over Mo’Nique any damn day.

McCarthy has some personality and talent. She manages to pop off the screen and appeals to a wider audience.

Mo’Nique doesn’t. So she needs to look at her own capabilities — or lack of — and stop blaming others.

Then get used to the fact that she isn’t going to be a huge success and that a majority of the world will never know who she is.
