Mo’nique was blackballed from film after she won her supporting actress Oscar for Precious in 2010? That’s news to me. After she won an Oscar, she hosted a TV talk show from 2010 to 2012, I think. In 2014 she played Ma Rainey in Dee Rees’ TV movie, Bessie (which aired in 2015) and was wonderful.
