Jealous co-stars ruined her career

Looking back, it is clear as day that those Glee co-stars that tried to paint her as a terrible person were just jealous of her for being better and more popular than them, and so they decided to paint her as this terrible person in order to ruin her career.

A shame that they managed to succeed because Lea Michelle was set to become a massive Hollywood starlet. At least she is now doing something she enjoys in the stage, and her reputation wasn't damaged to prevent her from working in that field.

I guess it is some sort of karma that those co-starts that demonized her didn't amount to much career-wise after Glee.

What the hell are you on about? Multiple people from the show have stated (and written in published works) that she was a bully and diva (not dissimilar to Emmy Rossum from "Shameless" which then begs the question of what is Broadway doing to the egos of these young performers). It has nothing to do with being "jealous of her for being better and more popular." Ryan Murphy loved her and made her the star of the show, which caused her to perform most of the songs, and be out front and center for most of the series. There were singers on Glee with more talent than Lea. They just didn't get to "shine" as much because of Ryan's love for Lea.

Even if that is true and she was "mean" (so what?) that is not a reason for her to not get cast.

She has found success on Broadway so it all worked out in the end, I don't necessarily think she was destined to be a big movie star.

She is not being cast because nobody cares to see her lame acting. It was very obvious that after Glee she will vanish. Like other actors. None of them made it. Thats harsh fate of many Hollywood hit shows. They took unknown actors, cast them in ensemble and somehow show becomes super famous. And those people start thinking they are huge megastars now. And then show ends and no one cares about them and they cant find work.

Lost, Heroes, Modern Family, Glee etc. Even Friends actors (apart Aniston) could not find decent work.

They couldn't ruined her career since her career was already over when that scandal broke. Her career was over when Glee was over. There was no chance for her to be as popular. Many actors of one hit popupar show disappear once it over.

She has nothing in her to become real star. She is not pretty enough to be lead. She doesnt have charisma to play other roles. She was good as Rachel because she is like Rachel in real life, probably. And Glee was a huge ensemble. Show didnt become popular because everyone rushed to see her. If Leah Michelle would be only character that show would be cancelled after few episodes due to low ratings.
