My favourite McShane role...
...was when he played the chubby bronze-skinned antiques-dealing Friar Lovejoy in "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves".
What's yours?

shareOh, yeah, I remember that...must have been using the same mushrooms...yeah, definitely...Father Lovetuck, I think it was...or it could've been.. dunno..maybe..head hurts..
shareI should say my favourite is Judas, since there's where I discovered him, and it was absolutely shocking to me. But if I review all of his movies and shows (and there are very few I missed... I've been a BIG fan of him since the seventies!), I definitely choose Paul Lerner in "Evergreen".
shareblueheaven97 - Check the IMDB board for Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves - that was Michael McShane, not Ian McShane!
shareReally? Are you serious? Thanks for pointing that out, I honestly, HONESTLY didn't realise. I genuinely thought that what I was saying was correct. Seriously.

Teddy Bass in Sexy Beast. Cold as ice.
shareA also discovered him in the role as Judas. He was incredible! Teddy Bass was a great role for an actor to do some acting muscle stretching, too.
shareLovejoy
I also like him in Soul Survivors as Otis Cooke
