He's "that guy".
He's one of those guys who you can't name a single thing he's been in, but you know you've seen him in everything.

shareHe's one of those "that guy" familiar faced career character actors who has been in a lot over the years. It's not so much that you don't remember what you've seen him in but that you have no idea what his name is despite seeing him in everything if you grew up watching movies in the 90s because he's always a supporting character. Off the top of my head I remember him from 1. The Last Boy Scout. 2.Time Cop. 3.The Legend of Bagger Vans 4.Cinderella Man.
shareLooking at his IMDb page, I've seen him in so many movies. But if somebody asked me which ones I saw, I wouldn't put my money down to tell you which ones they are.
shareDefinitely remember him in Cinderella Man and The Insider. Other than that, yeah know he's been in a lot, but couldn't name it.
shareI've seen both and don't remember him in those. That's the definition of a character actor.
sharethe same I told you
shareI thought he was a pretty standout character in both of those especially in The Insider. He is the ultra pissed over-the-top southern lawyer who lays it into opposing counsel during the dep and does a great performance though he is not a lead in the film. Has a much larger role in Cinderella Man.
He's a great character actor. First time I saw him on screen was in The Last Boy Scout, where he played a scumbag detective who was Bruce Willis buddy, but was secretly banging his wife.
shareToo true !
shareI came here to say the same thing!
Just looking up cast in a film I'm watching, he's in it. I don't think I ever knew his name before ( sorry Bruce).
To me, he will forever be God/barman from the last episode of (the real) Quantum leap.
Of course you don't know his name. That's what makes him "that guy".
