She's facing a minimun of 14 years according to the revealed sentencing guidelines so prosecutors are asking for leniency, these are terrible news for her. There was speculation about Allison getting about 3 to 5 years and maybe some probation but now this is likely not going to happen anymore, if the judge gives her leniency, my guess is that she would get at least 8 years but no less. She completely ruined her life, what a tragic and sad case.
shareShe's trying her best to be forgiven and gaining more leniency in the process but seems like some people wanted a more detailed letter to the victims and not just on the amends, growing and the experience she's been through, but at this point this is her last card to play and she couldn't waste it reminding the judge of all the bad things she did (he already knows that) so I think her apology was ok, she had to show that at some level she was a brainwashed victim of Raniere too and how much remorse and forgiveness she needs.
