I hate Apple as well, but I wouldn't attribute actors to the role of promoters of computer platforms.
Ok, but this guy's call to fame was his "I'm a Mac" stupid ad.
He based his whole career on that persona.
OK, then I'd say he made up for it with roles in Galaxy Quest, Jeepers Creepers, Die Hard 4.0 (I love his geeky character there) and Drag Me To Hell. I just like the guy, and I'm willing to overlook anything objectionable he did if he did lots of other stuff, and I don't pay attention to ads anyway. I'm from the UK, we never got those Mac vs PC ads, luckily.
Well, you basically missed his most famous role.
He's been playing that same asshole from those ads ever since.
He's not much of an actor, always playing that same character. Maybe he's typecasted, so it's not entirely his fault.

1. it has a right click feature. if not buy a normal two button mouse.... it works and has Both a left and right click function......
2. yes and MacOS is FARRRRRRRRRRRR more stable. do you know how many times ive had to reset my OS due to it freezing or bugging out? in 8 years of ownership maybe once? it was easier to dual boot windows on my Mac. than to dual boot an older windows OS on my windows machine. enjoy your black/blue screen of death
3. yess Mac isnt meant for gaming... its like complaining your small race car cant carry as much luggage as a van. so van is automatically better. two machines for two different jobs.

Open standards like Intel/AMD's common PC CPUs are all anyone should need, we don't need another closed, proprietary standard that *might* be faster.
At least Apple regained a lot of respect by using the Intel standard after finally ditching that PowerPC stuff back in the day, but now they're doing their own thing again. Why do they have to do that?

anddd intel fucked them. apple made thinner MacBooks on the intel promise of a smaller nanometer chip that ran cooler. Once all the other components and Mac chassis were ready, intel sas "yaaaa so about that chip....intel fucked apple for years so they said "cool we will do it ourselves". the m1 released two years ago is a 5 nm chip
intel is STILL producing 10 AND 14 NM Chips. they are literally 8 years behind.
have you even researched the m1 arm benefits for 1 minute??? the ARM chip architecture is the future without a doubt. its been described by most as "revolutionizing" the cpu and pc space.

You seem to forget that people are attached to one platform or another, and only drastic measures would cause them to "switch".
1. I have always been Windows, before that MS-DOS, before that Amiga, and before that Atari 8-Bit.
2. I have all of my favourite software on Windows, and can easily emulate Amiga on it. I don't think even a competent Amiga emulator exists on Apple hardware, certainly not to the extent of WinUAE.
3. I actually wish Apple had gone bust in the 1990s, it would've reflected Commodore's bankruptcy and been much more justified.
4. Amiga only failed because Commodore, in our parallel universe, mismanaged the future-proof technology and failed to understand that the Amiga was THE first multimedia computer: back in 1985, when the Amiga was launched, ALL other computers were a fucking JOKE. If Commodore had "gotten" the Amiga and expanded it accordingly over the years, it would've consistently beaten IBM and Apple and been a JUGGERNAUT. But of course, not in THIS parallel universe.

I was originally an Apple fan with a II plus (the fancy one-48k!) back in the 70s, and the first iteration of Macintosh in '84; They lost me years ago though, with their massively annoying proprietary bullshit- I've hated them ever since and will never purchase any of their products...
