Alison, Please Come Back
I miss you. But if you don't want to come back and you're really happy being a wife and mommy, I'm OK with that, too. But I will still miss you being in the movies.
I just wonder why, though. I know that you weren't always happy with the business (but who is?) and that once your credits in a movie were MIA for a while (Delirious) and that you didn't like the loss of your privacy and that sometimes the critics weren't kind (Where the Truth Lies -- and I totally disagree). But didn't you have a lot of fun some of the time? Wasn't Matchstick Men a lot of fun to work on? Maybe you and Sam Rockwell could do something together. He seems like he might be fun to work with. Just a small project maybe? Maybe just do some voice acting? I loved you in Nausicaä.
Anyway, if you read this, I miss you and I'm sure I'm not alone. I hope you're well. If you really don't want to work in movies again, maybe you could do an interview where you talk about how much you're enjoying your life now. Then I wouldn't have to worry.
