Killed by Cuban cigars?

Not dead yet, but I don't see any evidence they're Cuban, but it would be ironic for Rush to support Cuba!

Reality is any cigar increases your chances of lung cancer. While it is true they don't generally increase your chances to the same level that cigarette do, they still increase your odds. I've never understood the ignorance of people that think just because you don't inhale as deep that it doesn't still result in the smoke getting into your lungs to some degree.

Exactly.

Rush was wrong on this one..

I find it odd that he's succumbing to lung cancer, considering the link between cancer and smoking/second hand smoke is nothing more than a Liberal assertation/invention and COMPLETELY wrong. (His sentiments, not mine).

He spouts how smoking isn't linked to cancer and somehow makes it about political manipulation. Then he turns around and gets cancer from smoking cigars. Hypocrite lol.

His knowledge when it comes to science has always been lacking. I remember when he had a TV show and there was a volcano in the Philippines that erupted he was making some comments about how the dust wasn't going to go high enough to impact airplanes... Of course planes were and are always grounded when volcano erupt because the ash does go very high and can damage the jet engines. Then again he also was known to brag that he only had a high school diploma.. Not that you have to have a college degree to be intelligent, but considering he flunked out of college learning doesn't seem to be something he was ever good at, and now he's paying the price for thinking he knew more than anyone else about the dangers of smoking.
