Logan lands a supporting role in the multicast dramedy "The Wife"

From the detail that has been provided, it looks like Logan decided to go with another Indie multicast situation dramedy(like he did with Stuck In Love). It even centers on writers again. It will be called "The Wife" and it's based on a bestselling novel with the same name. He'll play the aspiring-writer, troubled son of lead role Glenn Close's and Jonathan Pryce's. I was kind of hoping for more of a substantial, exciting role than this, especially after his stint's in Perks and Fury, but I guess I'll hold judgement until there's further information on it. I'm just happy he's finally working again. It's about time. Here's the detailed info... http://variety.com/2015/film/news/berlin-frances-mcdormand-brit-marlin g-christian-slater-join-the-wife-1201419434/

I don't what's going on, but I agree with you, he should be getting all sorts of roles now after he was being critically hailed in Perks, and he was even holding his own in Noah and Fury. He's either taking it easy, maybe his agent is asking for too much money and is scaring off potential projects, or perhaps he has been cast in a major project like Spider-Man or Justice League and is just keeping quiet about it/keeping the rest of his slate clean for those projects.

Has anyone seen him lately? Any award shows (O Brien is popping up everywhere you look now whether it's the red carpet at an awards show, or the premiere of a movie, not to mention the interviews he's been doing and whatnot. So, where is Logan in all of this?

Is that movie a dramedy or just a straight drama? Variety doesn't say what its genre is.

Wait. What?
What does Logan have to do with Dylan O'Brien?

reply

Variety said Dylan and Logan were the top two frontrunners for the new Spider-Man.

I know.

I just don't think Logan has any reason to care what Dylan O'Brien does or doesn't do on a daily basis.

Because I fear Dylan O Brien is going to be to Logan what Reese Witherspoon was to Alicia Silverstone, basically these two are going to be vying for roles in the near future, and I have a feeling O Brien might be getting the better gigs.

It's also weird, when ever O Brien is being interviewed, he seems to always mention Logan Lerman.

That was one time where he mentioned Logan.
