Lexie/Grey's Goof

I don;t know if this has been talked about (I'm sorry if it has) but I noticed an error in facts when it comes to Lexie's age. I hate when writers reveal a fact about a chaacter and then forget and change it in a future episode. Here are two exchanges from different seasons of Grey's Anatomy.

Season 5/Episode 12
Mark: You're Meredith Grey's little sister, you are forbidden fruit, you are 25, you're a fetus.
Lexie: 24, I skipped 3rd grade.

Season 7/Episode 14
Christina: There's no way she's 20. Maybe 26, 27.
Lexie: I'm 27.

So in two years she's aged three. I get that it's not a big deal and that the move was likely made to make Lexie closer to Chyler's real age (28) but it's still annoying.

I think it's because there's been a huge time jump right after season 6. I think so far, as of now - throughout season 7 about a year and a half has passed by if not more. So I suppose if Lexie turned 25 shortly after she said she was 25, and turned 26 last season, and she said she was 27 on Episode 14.

Honestly though I won't be surprised if she soon says she's 28 in the next few episodes if she does mention it, haha. Grey's Anatomy sucks with their timeline. I'm pretty sure two episodes ago was supposed to be within 3 months.

I thought you went both ways.

suppose her birthday was ep 13?

hubby and I were born the same year, right now he is 46, I am still 45!

Or maybe she had just turned 27 when she told Yang her age then and was about to be 25 when she was talking to Mark two seasons earlier.

Makes sense to me.

Also this show doesn't run where each season comprises 365 1/3 days and is an exact year. The first three seasons were all about their first year of residency or intern year.

And finally. It's a television show. A prime time medical soap opera so just shut up. You want to find things wrong with the show, so you try and do it.

Make sure you are right before trashing. It makes you look like an absolute idiot.
