Saw him whlle waiting to get into "Tonight Show"
This was about three years ago. My wife and I were in L.A., and we were waiting in line to see the Tonight Show with Jay Leno behind the old (now empty) NBC Studios on Alameda Street in Burbank, CA. Lindsay Lohan was the guest in that evening's show. Who should drive by, exiting the lot through the gate, in an old, restored, classic American convertible (looked like a Chevy or Ford) but Hugh Laurie. He saw me, and I began pointing to the others in line. I said "hey look, it's, it's ....House" (I have never seen an episode of "House," although I do remember Hugh Laurie from "Black Adder" and "Wooster and Jeeves.") Someone else in line said "Hugh Laurie." I said, "yeah, that's right, Hugh Laurie." Others in line started high-fiving me. "Nice one" someone said. "Good job of spotting him" said someone else. We then resumed our standing in line. End of story.
