anyone eles notice this?

has any one noticed that in "The Warriors" DPK's charcter is listed as "luther" but this name never appears in the film itself not even once? just thought that was kind of odd.

The name was just arbitrary, then. His character name in 48 HRS was also Luther. Have you seen the Director's Cut of Warriors or the Theatrical Cut? Maybe one of the versions uses his name and the other doesn't. I saw the Director's Cut a few weeks ago, but can't remember if they referred to him by name. Maybe the name is on his jacket or something?

It's not that odd, though. Many movies have characters that are not named - The Bass Player in That Thing You Do, Narrator in Fight Club, Clint Eastwood as The Man With No Name, The Bride in Kill Bill, The Bad Lieutenant, etc.

I am not sure, but I think that was. Are You sure that it wasn't? I think that somebody from the other gang speaks this name. But I am not sure. I will check this.

Kelly also played a character named Luther in the movie "48 Hours".
