Can you imagine?
If a Blade sequel or reboot was made and they cast a pale skinned Asian as the lead? People would be really mad. It's never a good idea to change a characters core roots. That's like taking an iconic character who also happens to be gay and turning them straight, or vice versa. I feel like its unnecessary pandering to political correctness not because someone unconventional to the character auditioned for the role and was *beep* superb.
