glad to see people seem to have finally had enough of this prick
If you type up the name Dwayne Johnson on YouTube, you'll find at least 15-20 videos that have come out in the past year or so of people calling him out on his ego, fakeness, hypocrisy, over-corporatized image, and lack of quality films on his resume.
Whether it be his incessant plugs for his own brands on Instagram, his constant lying about having just had his first In-N-Out burger, him comparing himself to Christopher Nolan just 'cause he shot Red One in IMAX, and just his general fake, overly bland public persona purposely designed to offend no one, it seems like audiences have finally had enough of this guy's bullshit.
Worst of all, unlike some other celebrities who've had their stardoms tainted by some of their real-life antics (Tom Cruise, Michael Jackson), the Rock can't even make audiences forget about all that by delivering quality work that audiences love despite how they personally feel about the man. Pretty much every movie he's done that isn't Fast and Furious has virtually been forgotten by the time they left theaters, and even those aren't exactly classics either.
Couldn't have come soon enough, I say. Good riddance.
