So his only claim to fame back then was wrestling, even to this day despite his success in Hollywood, The Rock still gets asked to come back to wrestling even though he hasn't been in it for two decades now. He does show up every once in a while and occasionally wrestles but not all the time like he did before the movie career when wrestling was extremely popular in his heyday.
