That is often true. I knew a guy who was very overweight. Ended up losing a load (doctor's ultimatum), and although he was a heck of a lot slimmer, he looked a lot older. I'd say that by the end of the two years-ish it took him to lose around five stone he looked liked he'd aged 15 - 20 years.
