Of the three new Katie movies I've seen over the past year

American Mary's the top, no question. I'd probably give 13 Eerie a slight edge over Goodnight For Justice:Queen Of Hearts for second place. I liked all three and am looking forward to the other movies she has coming out this year. If anyone else has seen those three movies, or saw The Movie Out Here during its brief run or saw Random Acts Of Romance at the couple film festivals it's played at so far, how would you rank the most recent Katie films?

I haven't seen the others, but want to (even the 11other minute short sounds like it could be great). 13 Eerie sounds like the project with the stronger storyline, and if that means what it's come to the last few years and it could be the disaster/undoing of an otherwise solid piece of cinema.

American Mary didn't get to me in the way I thought it may. Clearly Mary was inexperienced, if not a virgin. Still being a virgin, the cold, the drugged drink...
Kudos to KI in how she reacted in that 'mornjng after' .... very true to life. Yes, some women freak and scream out of panic, but Mary is very introverted anyhow. All you need to know about what happened, how she feels about ALL of it, you just need to focus on KI's eyes. She hasn't gone cold, she draws on it like a mosquito taking a sip.

This film is, without a doubt, one of the best of the past few years. It's got spots of humor, actors who can act, a lead in Katherine Isabelle who's unassuming in how she just becomes completely taken over and lost within the character of Mary.

This was just supposed to be answering the OP's question if I've seen any other films with KI ob the lead (that are recent films). I haven't but now my watchist. I'd seen KI in GingerSnaps Back sometime last year, then the night I watched American Mary I watched the firstway GingerSnaps - which reminded me of the satirical tone, angles, and other technical stuff (and the storyline!!) of/from Jennifer's Body.

So OP sorry for going on about the film. KI was perfect casting! People need to see this!!!

TW FOR FILM: Rape .... it's a short scene, no nudity but there isa struggling, choking and gagging.
