AEW

I think it's great but don't burn that bridge with the WWE.I mean he still wants to get into the Hall of Fame someday.

I think even though Jericho has always marched to his own drum he's always kept a respect with VKM. Although he's still popular he's also well into his 40s and I can't imagine any business decision he makes for himself now will permanently burn his bridge with WWE. I mean didn't Jeff Jarrett get in? If Double J's bridge wasn't burnt, no way Jericho's is!

reply

He's done literally all there is to do in WWE so I don't blame him at all for moving on. With that said I'm glad he's helping AEW get bigger because lets face it, Pro Wrestling needs more good options then WWE. That company has gotten lazy as hell.

He will still be in the HOF at some point. Either as a very old man when the past can be forgotten, or at some point after he passes away. They won't keep him out unless he becomes embroiled in a major scandal.

reply

Jericho is only 48. At the rate WWE is going, I think Jericho will outlive that company.

reply

I don't think WWE is going to go out of business or anything, but I do think that the McMahon family will probably divest themselves of it at some point. It wouldn't surprise me if WWE became a part of Disney eventually. Either that or some other big conglomerate with deep pockets that can somehow add WWE to its properties and content.
