I stood next to Carice at a busstop a few years ago, here in Amsterdam. This was prob. just before the filming of Zwartbook. She looks quite ordinary, but on film....it just does something to her...well..that is the X factor?

Camera filters slightly change the hue or saturation of what a person really looks like in real life. For some ppl, actually for most ppl it makes them look better, but for others it doesnt help.
For her case, maybe they did a great makeup job?
Well, i saw Carice a few times in real life and i think she looks better in real life. She's very tiny, refined looking, she has really neat features and i think she's more 'softer' in real life then on screen.

lol i didnt see her walking on street, but she's was in a theatre for a play and afterwards I had a little conversation with her ;)
