Holy *beep* Verhoeven wanted Carice to star in Elle
The movie currently getting raves for Isabelle Huppert had Carice on the director's shortlist. Did her agent turn it down without asking Carice first because I don't believe she would have passed up the opportunity to star in this movie, not to mention reuniting with the director who made her a star. And let's face it, she is under-utilised on Game of Thrones and rarely has the chance to showcase what a magnificent actress she is.
