Pregnant of Guy Pearce

Call me cynical, but for a man who never wanted kids, was vocal about not wanting kids and even said that he was afraid he'd throw them out the window if he had them, this looks to me like her plan, and that she's trapped him into having a kid.

I hope he's genuinely happy with this. If not, he's screwed up his life.

As much as I am a big fan of his acting, I could care less about his new-found happiness with Carice and future offspring :)

People do change their minds, that's true. It's just that usually if people spend their 30 years of adulthood explaining elaborately why they DON'T want kids, once they DO, they usually don't do it 3 months into dating someone new after leaving their longtime partner.

But then again I'm judgy about everyone who gets pregnant within a year of dating. It's an unnecessary "risk" for your kid. Don't do it, kids.

Or perhaps he and his ex-wife couldn't have kids so it was easier to tell people they didn't want to have kids. It's a very personal and often painful ordeal if you can't have kids, especially living in the public eye. Who knows?

He seems happy with his kid, his ex-wife is happy, Carice is happy, so who are we to judge them? (not that you are, just 'we' as in outsiders)
