I never saw her on SNL but I did recognize her immediately as the tour guide at the Alamo in Pee Wee’s Big Adventure.

Thanks for posting that article. A rough read at times when reading what she went through in her final years and days, but a great overall read on who Jan was. She was a very talented woman.
